Dar Al Ber’s Dh30m donation benefits thousands



DUBAI // The Dar Al Ber Society has donated Dh30,317,000 toward charitable causes benefiting thousands of low-income recipients within the past nine months.

The funds, raised from society branches in Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah, paid for medical assistance for patients, school allowances to students, electricity bills, rents and general expenses, according to Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, the executive director of Dar Al Ber Society. Donations also paid for Ramadan Meer, or foodstuff packages, Iftar meals, Zakat Al Fitr, Eid clothes, sacrificed meat and other assistance to low-income people.
