SHARJAH // Interpol has been asked to help arrest and extradite a man suspected of murdering an Emirati woman.
Her body was found by the side of the road in Sharjah last week.
Interpol was contacted following tip-offs that the suspect, the victim’s driver, had left the UAE, Rashid Ali Al Omran, Attorney General of Sharjah Prosecution, told, Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister newspaper of The National.
He is believed to have returned to his home country, India. A warrant has been issued for his arrest and extradition according to international laws.
The body of Emirati H B, 45, from Ras Al Khaimah, was found on Al Maleha Road near Al Badeah bridge in Sharjah Industrial Area 18 in the early hours of November 15.
Police are investigating whether she was murdered in her home emirate or Sharjah.
Forensics teams and CID officers took detailed photos of the area where her body was found and took fingerprints from the victim to help determine the cause of her death.

Florida: The critical Sunshine State
Though mostly conservative, Florida is usually always “close” in presidential elections. In most elections, the candidate that wins the Sunshine State almost always wins the election, as evidenced in 2016 when Trump took Florida, a state which has not had a democratic governor since 1991.
Joe Biden’s campaign has spent $100 million there to turn things around, understandable given the state’s crucial 29 electoral votes.
In 2016, Mr Trump’s democratic rival Hillary Clinton paid frequent visits to Florida though analysts concluded that she failed to appeal towards middle-class voters, whom Barack Obama won over in the previous election.
