DUBAI // New online services by Dubai Courts will offer free legal advice, case registration and access to case files archives from anywhere in the world.
A programme known as Al-Salfa will allow people to register cases without being physically present at the courts.
It will also allow law firms and litigants to record details of their cases, print judgments, decisions and other information, as well as upload identification papers and send them online to Dubai Courts.
Another programme, Sure, will involve volunteer lawyers offering free legal consultations and advice to litigants.
The programmes, which have been on trial for the past four months, will be officially available at the start of June.
