Coronavirus: UAE reports 1,412 new Covid-19 cases

Friday was the tenth consecutive day with more than 1,000 new daily cases

The UAE recorded 1,412 new coronaviruses cases and three new deaths on Friday.

It is the tenth consecutive day there were more than 1,000 new daily cases.

There were 1,618 recoveries, bringing the number of known active cases to under 7,500.

The Ministry of Health conducted 116,470 new tests in the past 24 hours.

A total of 455 people in the UAE have died from Covid-19 so far.

To date, the UAE has seen 104,943 recoveries.

The Ministry of Health expressed its regret and condolences to the families of the deceased and called on residents and Emiratis to follow national safety guidelines.

The global death toll stands at 1.09 million while cases have risen to 38.9 million.
