Dr Eklil Zanin, the president of the Republic of the Comoros, has met with members of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation to thank them for the aid the body has provided to his people.
The foundation continues to provide relief to tens of thousands of residents of the Comoros Islands, where torrential rains and flooding have left thousands without shelter or electrical supplies.
Nearly 50,000 people have been affected and 9,000 forced to leave their homes.
