Community centres project for Western Region

The Western Region Municipality has announced a community centres project in Madinat Zayed and Al Marfa.

The project is the first of its kind in the Western Region and is set to be completed in two years, according to Atiq Al Mazrouei, acting director general of the municipality. He addded that the project was in line with the Western Region 2030 development plan. The centres, which are to be created in the city centre, will be multi-purpose facilities providing a variety of services.

The community centres in Madinat Zayed and Al Marfa are a large-scale investment project that will offer business, social and entertainment services, Mr Al Mazrouei said.
