Staff photographer Reem Mohammed captured this starkly minimalist image of a man atop a sand mount at Umm Suqeim Beach in Dubai.
The composition of the frame combined with his body language gives a sense of accomplishment for a successful climb, and perhaps inspiration for us all heading into 2016.
