Repetition using shapes and colours in photography is nothing new, but add an extra element and the picture becomes more interesting. Staff photographer Satish Kumar exhibits this idea in this photo of a worker getting ready to throw food for the flamingos at the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary in Dubai. The worker breaks the pattern repetition of the frame, while the arm of his sunglasses is in keeping with the photo’s colour theme.
