Patterns, textures, light and shade all combine to make a wonderful competing jumble of shapes in this image by staff photographer Delores Johnson. The figure, even though he is central in the frame, seems to be almost consumed by his surroundings. Only the scaffolding gives the image a structure, it feels like its not only holding the man aloft but also holding this image together.
