It's all too easy as a photographer to approach your assignment with a pre-conceived idea of what the images should look like. Trying to keep yourself and your subjects focused on what you want is often quite a challenge.
However, it’s sometimes worth keeping your eyes open for an image that you were not intentionally or originally looking for. Here, Christopher Pike was sent out to photograph kayakers and rafters in Al Ain but a quick look up in the park where the shoot was taking place produced an engaging image quite different from the original brief.
