Tickets for the eagerly anticipated return of Coldplay to Abu Dhabi go on sale at noon on Monday, it was announced today.
The multi-million album-selling band will perform on New Year’s Eve in an event to mark the capital hosting the Volvo Ocean Race.
The event is being hosted on a purpose-built stage next to the Volvo Ocean Race Destination Village on the Corniche Breakwater.
Organisers Flash Entertainment said tickets would be available via thinkflash.ae
Coldplay last performed in Abu Dhabi in March, 2009, in the grounds of Emirates Palace hotel, in front of a 20,000-strong crowd. It was later described by frontman Chris Martin as one of the highlights of the band’s tour.
Tickets will cost from Dh325.
