Residents throughout the UAE can expect cloudy weather during the day Thursday with the possibility of rain in some areas, the nation’s forecaster said.
The poor weather conditions will be compounded with strong winds, particularly in coastal areas, causing blowing dust and poor visibility in exposed areas.
Temperatures are expected to drop after highs earlier this week reminded many residents of the approaching summer.
In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 29°C with a low of 15°C, according to the the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
In the interior, maximum temperatures of 30°C and lows of 12°C are being forecast.
Strong winds are expected to create rough conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Similar conditions are expected to greet residents on Friday with the beginning of the weekend, the forecaster said.
