RAS AL KHAIMAH // The police operations room received 2,806 phone calls over the weekend.
The calls were to report traffic accidents, crimes, fires and medical emergencies, as well as general queries.
Brigadier General Ghanim Ahmed Ghanem, director general of Central Operations at RAK Police, said the Operations Room contains state-of-the-art equipment and cameras, enabling the staff to provide a first-rate service.
