The body of Emirati soldier Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al Hosani, who died in Yemen, arrived onboard a military plane of the UAE Armed Forces at the Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
On arrival, a special military ceremony was held to receive the body of Al Hosani in the presence of a number of top officials.
He died while carrying out his duties as part of Operation Restoring Hope, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition effort to support and restore the legitimate government of Yemen to power.
The General Headquarters of the UAE Armed Forces conveyed its “sympathy and deepest condolences" to his family, prayed to Allah that his soul will rest in eternal peace.
