DUBAI // Nearly 300,000 visited Dubai’s parks during the Eid Al Adha holidays, Dubai Municipality has said.

Of this total, some 180,000 visited Zabeel, Mamzar, Safa, Khawaneej, Mushrif and Creek parks in the first two days alone.

“Mamzar and Jumeirah beach parks were on top in terms of the turnover of visitors, while Mushrif park ranked third,” said Mohammed Al Fardan, head of the parks section.

“More than 150 nationalities, from residents and tourists, visited the different parks.”

There are 100 public and residential parks in Dubai, and the numbers will continue to grow as the public parks and horticulture department opens new parks every year.
