The Al Ain Police Officers’ Club has organised an Eid Al-Adha party for pupils from Tawiya and Dhafra kindergartens and Rafa’a Elementary School.
Captain Abdullah Al Tawir Al Ameri told the youngsters about the importance of learning the history of Islam, as well as explaining the significance of the rituals of Eid Al-Adha and Hajj.
The programme included several activities including recitals of songs and poems and readings from the Quran by the pupils.
The event was attended by Colonel Abdullah Al Shamsi, rirector of Al Maqam Police, as well as other police officers and parents.
A charity exhibition was organised by Al Ain American School on the sidelines of the event to raise funds for the Dar Zayed for Family Care charity.
