AL AIN // Four members of an Emirati family from Al Ain have died in separate incidents in the space of only a few days.
Saif Saeed Mubarak's family suffered their first loss with the death last week of Saif's sister Aysha Saeed, who had been receiving medical treatment in Spain. When told of his sister's death, Saif himself became ill and died.
He was buried last Thursday afternoon, the day before his sister's body arrived home.
While the family was still in mourning for the two deaths, Saif's son Ali, 17, was killed in a car crash on Saturday.
Deeply saddened by the death of her husband and son, Ali's mother and Saif's widow also passed away, leaving their children – including their daughter Shahd, 5 – orphaned.
The family belong to Al Kaabi tribe.
