Ajman rubber factory blaze extinguished

Fire crews from Dubai and Sharjah have put out a major blaze at a rubber factory in the Julfa Ajman industrial area.

A major fire which broke out at a rubber factory in the Julfa Ajman industrial area has been brought under control. Fire crews from Dubai and Sharjah were called to the scene, behind Ajman Municipality Labrorator, just after 9am. By this afternoon, the fire was out and a dampening down process was under way. Officials at the scene said there were no reports of injuries Colonel Salem al Matroushi, the head of Ajman Civil Defence, said police were already investigating the causes.
