The Abu Dhabi Police community support department has donated schoolbags to pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds as part of the Return to Schools campaign, which includes visits to 50 schools in Abu Dhabi and lectures by psychologists and educators.
The campaign also includes lectures on religion and heritage, as well as workshops on morality, computer ethics, and healthy food to youngsters in the capital's juvenile care centres, to encourage them in education and help them to get over a difficult time in their lives, officials said.
