Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, on receiving an award which recognises his contribution to the development of the Arab world.
The Prime Minister received the Shield for Leadership in Arab Development for leading initiatives and his role in empowering Arab communities, spreading knowledge and creating a more stable future for the region.
The award is given to exceptional personalities and role models in the field of sustainable development.
In a message on Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid is "a brother who is recognised as the most influential and inspiring figure in the development of government work".
“He possesses a pioneering vision in promoting excellence and creativity,” wrote Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
“We congratulate him on the Arab League award The Shield of Development Work, deserved for his important contributions in construction and development. He is the UAE's exemplary model of competitiveness and leadership."
