600 Emiratis enrol in work initiative

Six hundred Emiratis from across the country have enrolled in the “Yes to Work” initiative organised by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education.

The initiative, which was launched on Saturday, aims to train young men and women in commercial business skills to promote the role of the Emirati workforce.

Eleven industrial and business establishments in Abu Dhabi, the Western Region, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman will be welcoming student interns on a part-time basis until January 8.

The initiative was rolled out under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. This is the fourth edition of the three-week initiative.
