Eight women took part in the race, with seven of them having trained with the Arabian Desert Camel Riding Centre, which was founded by trainer Linda Krockenberger.
Riders compete in the final C1 championship event at Al Marmoom Camel Racing Track.
The event took place on March 27 and entry was free of charge.

The centre trains more than a dozen riders from several European and Arab countries.
