UAE weather: rain likely to the east and south

Saturday's weather patterns in the UAE will extend into Sunday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.

This means it will be partly cloudy and hazy at times, with a chance of convective clouds causing rain to the east and south by afternoon.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will again be in the mid-40s, although humidity is forecast to rise to over 60 per cent in both emirates.

Light to moderate winds will become fresh to strong with clouds causing blowing dust and sand.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
