An 8-year-old boy who went missing from his home in Sharjah last week has been found dead in a neighbour’s car. His family, from India, reported the child missing on the afternoon of June 27. Police found his body that day, inside a car parked next to his home in Al Nasseriya. “Initial investigations show that the boy went inside the car, which was left unlocked, to play but then failed to unlock it,” a statement from police said. “No criminal suspicion is found as per the criminal laboratory. The boy died due to high temperatures and lack of ventilation inside the car,” Sharjah Police said. The case was referred to the public prosecution for further investigation. Sharjah Police offered their condolences to the boy’s family. They urged parents to monitor their children and take precautions to prevent such accidents occurring. <br/>
