A blazing century from Waqas Ahmed helped guide Multiplex International to a comfortable 92-run win over Ramada Ajman in a Sharjah Ramadan Cup match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Ahmed’s 101, coming off just 50 balls, helped Multiplex post an imposing 230-4 on the board and then their bowlers, led by Abdul Haq (3-22) and Haroon Ahmed (2-12), came in to restrict Ramada Ajman to 138-9.
Opening the innings alongside Sapandeep Singh, Ahmed came out all guns blazing as 84 runs were added for the in only 6.1 overs, with Singh contributing a 12-ball 10 in that partnership.
