Juventus are close to completing the €30million (Dh152m) transfer of Guiseppe Rossi from Villarreal.
A meeting is scheduled tomorrow to finalise the terms of a deal for the Italy international striker, who should form the centrepiece of Juve's attempts to rehabilitate themselves as a Serie A force.

Rossi, 24, has already agreed an after-tax salary of €4m at a club that finished a lowly seventh in last season's Italian championship. The United States-born forward had been on the point of exchanging Villarreal for Barcelona until the Spanish champions shifted their attentions to Alexis Sanchez.
Also pursued by Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Internazionale, Sanchez is himself close to leaving Italian football with Barcelona officials indicating that his transfer could be signed off today. The fee is worth €40m, made up of an initial €28m with an added €12m of 'guaranteed variables'.
Though Sanchez has been consistent in his desire to move to Camp Nou, Chelsea and City's aggressive interest in the Chile forward have pushed his fee upwards, compromising Barca's attempts to keep their net summer spend at €45m as they simultaneously chase Cesc Fabregas. The club is, though, close to selling Bojan Krkic to AS Roma for an initial €10m.
Rossi, a Manchester United signing as a teenager, was the subject of failed offers by Tottenham Hotspur in both of the last two transfer windows. He claimed 51 goals in 127 League appearances for Villarreal, also scoring more than once in every two European games for the club.
