Mubarak Al Besher of the UAE was eliminated form the 100-metre breaststroke competition on Sunday after finishing last in Heat 5 on the first day of the 2015 World Aquatics Championships indoor races.
Youssef El Kamash of Egypt won the 10-man race, with Edgar Crespo of Panama second, Joshua Hall of the Philippines third and Azad Al Barazi of Syria fourth.

Al Besher finished with a time of 1 minute, 9.08 seconds, more than five seconds behind ninth-placed finisher Mauro Castillo of Mexico.
Al Besher, 27, will now focus on the 50m breaststroke preliminaries taking place on Tuesday, where he will again race in Heat 5.
