This week's talented showcase of students include an Ajman University student's four-wicket burst from three overs in the Maxtalent Pride Cup inter-university cricket tournament and the Player of the Tournament in an Under 19 table tennis competition. <b>Mohammed Farooq</b> His niggardly bowling performance helped Ajman University of Science and Technology down Murdoch University by four wickets in a Maxtalent Pride Cup Inter-University cricket tournament match. Murdoch were in a strong position when Farooq took four for six from three overs. Ajman then crossed the target of 124 in 16.1 overs. <b>Eehita Chhabra</b> Chabbra picked up the Player of the Tournament award after guiding Delhi Private School, Sharjah, to the girls' Under 19 table tennis title at the Sundeep Batavia Memorial Inter-School tournament last week. An accomplished swimmer, the Grade 9 student plays table tennis just for fun. Still, she was the one to beat as the hosts finished ahead of Indian School Dubai in the final. <b>Omer Mohammed</b> The Model School cricket captain was presented a special award from his school for a stellar performance in the Abu Dhabi inter-school cricket tournament for the 2010/2011 season. The 16 year old won the Most Valuable Player award, too, and was selected by the Zayed Cricket Academy for one week's free coaching with the Sussex county in England in August. <b>Bilal Passela</b> The Cambridge High School student was the pick of the Zayed Cricket Academy bowling in the ADCC President's Cup Division Two tournament in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. The 15 year old took three of the four wickets to fall from his five overs at a cost of 28 runs in a total of 226 scored by the Darwish bin Ahmed team, who went on to win the game by 22 runs. <b>UAE school sports Athlete of the Week:</b> Joannu Ann Varghese was into athletics but has loved basketball since she was introduced to it.
