Thursday’s cover: Wild Wahda crush defending President’s Cup champions Al Jazira

Al Wahda's 6-0 thrashing of Al Jazira in the President's Cup quarter-finals is the big story on The National Sport on Thursday, January 5.

Jazira, the defending champions, were left to rue three frantic first-half minutes that saw an even game turn into a 3-0 lead for Wahda.

The National's John McAuley was at the Zabeel Stadium to witness an extraordinary encounter between the two Abu Dhabi rivals.
