The drop looms for Shaab



SHARJAH // Al Shabab won their first away game of the season last night to push Al Shaab closer to Pro League relegation. Mehrdad Oladi headed the visitors in front in the 20th minute and Adel Abdulla also scored with a header 12 minutes into the second half in the 2-1 win. Goodwin Attram scored Shaab's goal with a superb solo effort on 27 minutes The result left Shaab bottom of the Oro League table after the promoted Al Khaleej earned a point in a goalless draw with Al Dhafra in a scoreless result. And Andre Senghor scored an injury time goal for Al Ain to rally from a goal down to win 2-1 over Sharjah.

The Brazilian Anderson scored from the spot for Sharjah to take the lead on the 16th minute. Ali al Wehaibi cancelled it a minute into the second half and Senghor struck three minutes into injury time to put the nine times champions back on the title track on 27 points.
