Prince Bishop takes The National Sport front page on Sunday, March 29 after stunning the field to win the 2015 Dubai World Cup.
Barely mentioned in the pre-race discussions — with much of the focus on American California Chrome — Prince Bishop won the richest race in the world in stunning style.
After leading a breakaway, Prince Bishop, ridden by William Buick and owned by Shiekh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, held off the challenge of California Chrome to win by 2.75 lengths and claim the US$6million winner’s cheque.
