Spitz takes mountain bike gold

BEIJING // The German cyclist Sabine Spitz took gold in the women's mountain bike race. Spitz completed the course in 1 hour 45 minutes 11 seconds to finish ahead of Maja Wloszczowska of Poland who finished with a time of 1:45:52.
