Seven to watch at the Sevens

Isoa Damudamu (England)

The Army serviceman is a mainstay of Ben Ryan's England, and has earned a reputation as the leading forward in sevens. Just returned after twice dislocating his shoulder last year.

Nick Phipps (Australia)

The scrum-half toured Hong Kong and Europe with the full Wallabies squad. He will provide the ammunition for Danny Cipriani at Melbourne Rebels when the Super 15 campaign starts.

Tomasi Cama (New Zealand)

The Fiji-born playmaker has been a mainstay of the New Zealand side in recent years. His father, Tomasi Cama Sr, was a sevens great for Fiji.

Cecil Afrika (South Africa)

A combination of speed, skill and vision made Afrika one of the most watchable players on the IRB Series last year. At 20, he is one of the most sought after players in South Africa.

Steve Franks (Bali Legends)

Franks is closing in on 50, but age did not stop him becoming the British Unlicensed Heavyweight boxing champion in June. He plays in the Vets 10s here.

Dan Luger (Christina Noble)

Part of England's 2003 World Cup winning squad. The winger will turn out alongside a variety of former internationals for the defending champions in the Vets 10s competition.

Danielle Waterman (Samurai Dubai)

The full-back was the star-turn as England reached the final of the Women's World Cup.
