Robert Lewandowski looks set to leave Borussia Dortmund after the club confirmed the Poland international would not be extending his contract. The 24-year-old, who has scored 14 goals in 20 Bundesliga games this season, has been heavily linked with a move to rivals Bayern Munich or to the English Premier League. His current deal at the Westfalenstadion is due to expire in June 2014, and Michael Zorc, director of sport at Dortmund, confirmed it will not be renewed. "His contract runs until 2014," he told German Sky. "There are two options. Either he goes in June or he stays for another year." Lewandowski failed to score for Dortmund in last night's cup quarter-final defeat to Bayern, while Dortmund also sit 17 points behind their rivals in the Bundesliga this season. Dortmund will want to sell their star striker rather than risk losing him on a free transfer in July 2014, but Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the Bayern Munich chairman, told a German newspaper: "We're not planning any negotiations with Dortmund".
