Records tumble and the first medals are won</strong> It may have only been the first day of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, but medals have already been dished out and records are already tumbling in the pool. Three world records were made in swimming and there was a first gold medal for Vietnam as 12 titles were handed out on the opening day. UAE underway</strong> The UAE’s campaign at Rio 2016 got underway on the opening day as cyclist Yousif Mirza took part in the men’s road race. Must see events on Day 2</strong> The action continues on the second day of Rio 2016 as Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history, hits the pool as does the UAE’s Yaaqoub Al Saadi. Elsewhere, the gymnastics arena will welcome USA stars Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas, and archery continues.
