A look at those who had a week to savour and also those who had a forgettable day in office.
UP
Carlos Tevez, Man City
The Argentine has spent much of the season as an outcast after his self-imposed exile in South America. But he showed City what they have been missing with a hat-trick against Norwich City. It still leaves a sour taste, though.
Paul Scholes, Man United
The midfield maestro had us reminiscing about that wonder goal from a rehearsed corner routine against Bradford City with a strikingly similar effort against Aston Villa on Sunday. It whistled narrowly wide but the technique was exquisite.
Bolton Wanderers
They have had worse weeks this season. The squad were in Dubai last week for some rest and recuperation ahead of the finale to the league. Their survival hopes were boosted when fellow strugglers QPR and Blackburn both lost.
DOWN
Chelsea fans
OK, not all of them but the mindless and moronic few who jeered and whistled during a minute's silence in memory of the Italian footballer who died on Saturday and the Liverpool fans who died in the Hillsborough disaster. Do things get any lower?
Ashley Young, Man United
You know a United player must be guilty when Sir Alex Ferguson fails to adopt the default mode of defending his team. For the second time in a week, Young made the most of minimal contact and pirouetted in the penalty area.
Josh McEachran, Swansea City
He joined on loan from Chelsea for more game time but has played only 37 minutes in nearly two months and was an unused substitute on Saturday, despite Swansea leading 3-0 after 63 minutes.
