NBA: Indiana Pacers beat Miami Heat to force Eastern Conference decider

Come-from-behind victory for the Pacers after half-time as LeBron James and his team fall to pieces in Game 6.

The Indiana Pacers beat the Miami Heat 91-77 on Saturday to force a decisive Game 7 in the NBA Eastern Conference finals.

The series decider will be held in Miami on Monday with the winner joining the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals, starting on Thursday.

Leading 3-2, Miami knew a win would secure their place in the finals for the third straight year but with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh again off-form, Indiana took full advantage, with Paul George top scoring with 28 points.

LeBron James led the Heat with 29 points and Miami led 40-39 at half-time.

But in a dramatic reversal of Game 5's third quarter, when the defending NBA champions ran away with it, Miami fell to pieces this time, allowing Indiana to take a 17 point lead at one stage.

Miami reduced the deficit to four points in the last quarter after two 3-pointers from Mike Miller but the Pacers quickly regained control to set up a winner-takes-all Game 7.
