Morgan relishes derby win

HULL // Justin Morgan declared himself satisfied with Hull KR's season after securing a third derby win of the campaign with a 36-8 success over Hull. The Robins posted six tries in a one-sided performance at Craven Park, with the visitors struggling to raise their game following last weekend's Challenge Cup defeat to St Helens. Jon Steel, Makali Aizue, Ben Cockayne, Peter Fox, Mick Vella and Stanley Gene all crossed the line for the home side, who end their second campaign in the engage Super League in seventh place.

"It was very nice to finish with a flourish," said Morgan after the game, which attracted a record crowd for the ground of 10,197. "Sometimes you can fall into the habit of being a bit loose in the last game of the season, especially after all the lead-up to last week in terms of Hull's fanfare about the cup, but I thought we were pretty focused about the game. "I thought we were dominant for most of the game."
