The National's Sport cover for the Tuesday, May 10 issue, features John Terry, whose illustrious but controversial career had come to an end during Chelsea's 3-2 defeat to Premier League rivals Sunderland on Saturday.
In his weekly Premier League comment, Richard Jolly writes that there were essentially two sides to the English defender's career – he was admired and respected for his talent and success on the pitch but just as loathed for his personality and controversies he was involved in.
Sadly for him and his fans, the outgoing Chelsea captain, 36, had to bid adieu after being shown a red card for fouling Wahbi Khazri at the Stadium of Light.
