The Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs warned Manchester City's new owners to forget about signing Old Trafford's top players. City had been linked with an audacious move for Cristiano Ronaldo. But Giggs says that it will take more than just money to lure United's players across the city. "Right now Manchester United are still the top team," Giggs told the Manchester Evening News. "It's not often that someone leaves to go to City and I don't see it happening at the moment."
But Giggs, right, the most decorated British player of all time with 20 major honours, admits that he sees City as a threat. "You have got to take notice when something happens like this. They already have a good manager in Mark Hughes and are already a decent team. Time will tell. "It is great for Manchester to have the football world focusing on both of its teams." @Email:mwalker@thenational.ae
