MONDAY: Brighton & Hove Albion v Southampton, midnight: Brighton felt they were well worth their last-gasp leveller against champions Liverpool last time out, and Graham Potter's side are more set up to attack teams than previous incarnations with the pace of Danny Welbeck and Aaron Connolly. But the propensity to wilt under pressure never seems far away, and certainly they got lucky with one VAR decision against Liverpool. Southampton will be desperate to redeem themselves after letting a two-goal lead slip against Manchester United to lose 3-2. In James Ward-Prowse, they boast the deadliest set-piece specialist in the league. PREDICTION: Brighton 0, Southampton 1
SATURDAY: Burnley v Everton, 4.30pm (all times UAE): Everton's bright start has given way to a dark lull, with Carlo Ancelotti's side losing five of their last four Premier League matches. While a trip to Burnley is never anyone's idea of fun, Sean Dyche's side are coming off the back of almost identical torrid form, and were hammered 5-0 by Manchester City last time out. A good time for both to arrest alarming slumps, but I see this one ending goalless. PREDICTION: Burnley 0-0 Everton. AFP
Manchester City v Fulham, 7pm: While City are well down on goals scored compared to previous seasons, they still used Burnley for shooting practice last weekend to notch five including a Riyad Mahrez hat-trick. In Kevin de Bruyne they boast the league's most creative force and Sergio Aguero may come back into consideration following a lay off. Fulham are buoyed by a win at Leicester City on Monday. Memes of manager Scott Parker's press conferences to background music by The Streets has become something of a cult in social media circles. The next song is likely to be accompanied by the instrumental to 'Dry Your Eyes, Mate'. PREDICTION: Manchester City 4-0 Fulham.
West Ham United v Manchester United, 9.30pm: While it was clear to everyone but his manager that Fred would be sent off in the midweek loss to PSG, Manchester United still had enough possession and chances to feel hard done-by in defeat. United are riding a three-win streak in the league and 33-year-old Edinson Cavani has shown in his last two appearances that those who wrote him off as past it should eat their collective hats. West Ham are an altogether different beast to the soft touches David Moyes inherited last season and are also chasing a fourth successive win. While they lack a prolific scorer, if West Ham can continue to share the workload, they could pull off a shock at home. PREDICTION West Ham 2-1 Manchester United
Chelsea v Leeds United, midnight: Four goals in midweek against Sevilla still may not move Olivier Giroud any closer to a Premier League berth with Frank Lampard preferring the pace of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham for domestic assignments. Chelsea were happy to claim a point against Tottenham last week but will look to target three points against a team with a penchant for shipping goals. Leeds continue to be one of the best team's to watch but you feel sooner or later manager Marcelo Bielsa will have to adopt a more balanced approach if they are going to secure survival. PREDICTION: Chelsea 2-0 Leeds United.
SUNDAY: West Bromwich Albion v Crystal Palace, 4pm: Slaven Bilic's men finally registered a first win in the top flight this term with a 1-0 win against Sheffield United. Conor Gallagher, last week's match-winner, may have the swagger and style of a surfer dude but the on-loan Chelsea midfielder is more than prepared to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. Palace are prone to suffering blocks of defeats and a setback against West Brom would make it four on the spin for Roy Hodgson's side. As per usual the Eagles' main threat lies in Wilfried Zaha, with the Ivorian winger set be reinstalled after overcoming Covid-19. PREDICTION: West Brom 1, Crystal Palace 1
Sheffield United v Leicester City, 6.15pm: Sheffield United's plight sees them propping up the rest of the table and already six points from safety. For a team that tends not to score too many, the gap is even more worrying. Record signing Rhian Brewster is yet to settle while David McGoldrick and Oliver McBurnie are more workmanlike than wunderkind. Chris Wilder could do worse than look to Billy Sharp - a man who has scored more goals in England than any other in the 21st century - to take on a Leicester team that blew their chance to go top with a defeat at home to Fulham. PREDICTION: Sheffield United 0, Leicester 2
Tottenham v Arsenal, 8.30pm: The first North London derby of the season and the gap between the white and red half could hardly be wider. Spurs are top, unbeaten since the opening day and in Son Heung-min and Harry Kane boast 16 league goals between them. The Gunners, meanwhile, languish in 14th, have lost three of five and with star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struggling with only two goals all season. While Jose Mourinho will have been happy to blunt Chelsea last time out, the Spurs tactician will look to inflict more pain on a club he enjoys most sticking the knife into. PREDICTION: Tottenham 3, Arsenal 1
Liverpool v Wolves, 11.15pm: Cutis Jones, Liverpool's midweek match-winner against Ajax, has been described as a 'young Steven Gerrard' by those who have a tendency to knee jerks. While the young Englishman has many redeeming qualities, he still has some way to go to be compared with the Anfield legend. Performances like the one in midweek will only enhance his reputation, and with Jurgen Klopp moaning more than most about the fixture list, he could get more opportunities to showcase his prodigious talent. PREDICTION Liverpool 2, Wolves 2
