Sergio Aguero's hat-trick in the 6-1 demolition job of Aston Villa on Sunday saw him become the Premier League's all-time leading foreign goalscorer.

The Argentine took his Premier League tally to 177 goals, overtaking legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, and moving level with Chelsea's Frank Lampard in joint fourth in the division's all-time top scorers' list.

He isn't the only City player to make this week's team, with midfielder Kevin de Bruyne at his creative best at Villa Park.

Liverpool's 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur was their 20th in 21 matches to make it the best start to a season by any club in Europe's top five leagues.

Two players make it into Richard Jolly's best XI.
