SEVILLA RATINGS: GK: Alfonso Pastor Vacas 6 – The inexperienced 20-year-old pulled off a number of decent saves. With that being said, he could do very little to prevent Giroud from netting a hat-trick. EPA

DF: Jesus Navas 6 – The former Manchester City man, who now operates as a full back, was slightly underwhelming going forward with the ball. Was replaced in the second half. Reuters

MF: Ivan Rakitic 6 – Endured two very different halves. The former Barcelona star controlled the tempo for large spells early on, but faded massively as the gas tank ran out. PA

Chelsea secured top spot in Champions League Group E with an emphatic 4-0 win at Sevilla on Wednesday, with Olivier Giroud scoring all four goals.

With qualification to the knockout stages already secured, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard made nine changes from the team held to a goalless Premier League draw by Tottenham on Sunday.

Making the most of his rare chance in the starting XI, Giroud - whose only other start so far this season was in the League Cup defeat to Spurs - helped himself to a perfect hat-trick before adding to his haul from the penalty spot.

The victory in Seville guarantees Chelsea top spot with one group game remaining, while Sevilla progress as runners-up.
