Sunderland sealed another unlikely survival mission with a 3-0 win over Everton on Wednesday night while Norwich's Nathan Redmond inspired a 4-2 win over Watford at Carrow Road, but it was too little, too late. Newcastle was not in action but still dropped because of the Sunderland win.
