LEEDS UNITED RATINGS: Illan Meslier - 6, The Frenchman had very little to do but was convincing whenever called upon. EPA

Luke Ayling - 6, Seemed to have a back problem 11 minutes in but that didn’t prevent him putting in a typically reliable performance. AFP

Liam Cooper - 7, Looked very good in his aerial defending, often getting above Jean-Philippe Mateta, and was also confident with the ball at his feet. AFP

Pascal Struijk - 7, He may have failed to score from any of the three headed chances that came his way, but Struijk defended brilliantly throughout. AFP

Ezgjan Alioski - 7, Did a good job defensively and also put some great balls into the box, one of which led to a chance for Patrick Bamford. AFP

Kalvin Phillips - 7, The midfielder dealt with Jordan Ayew well on many occasions and played some brilliant passes. Came off through injury. EPA

Raphinha - 8, Made some misplaced passes early on, but the Brazilian was brilliant to watch after he got going. Played some wonderful balls, nutmegged Gary Cahill and had a say in Bamford’s goal. AFP

Mateusz Klich - 6, Went down injured after five minutes but put in a solid display and did the basics well, showing intelligence in his play. AFP

Stuart Dallas - 6, The Northern Ireland international quietly went about his business but showed how reliable he is. Saw a good shot from range saved. Reuters

Jack Harrison - 7, Scored Leeds’ fastest goal of the season so far and came a crossbar’s width away from bagging his second of the game. AFP

Patrick Bamford - 7, The striker was so wasteful in the box in the first half. However, he scored the 100th goal of his career within seven minutes of the second after showing good anticipation. AFP

SUB: Jamie Shackleton (Phillips 88’) – N/R, Didn’t get that many touches but showed good energy levels and intensity. AFP

CRYSTAL PALACE RATINGS: Vicente Guaita - 6, Was very unlucky for both of Leeds’ goals and made some good saves throughout the evening. AFP

Nathaniel Clyne - 5, Was let off when Harrison hit the bar after he gave the ball away cheaply and struggled to deal with the winger’s threat. AFP

Scott Dann - 6, Was unlucky to see the ball deflect off him into the net for the opener, but stood strong throughout the game. Reuters

Gary Cahill - 5, The defender had a frustrating evening. It showed in his reaction after falling foul to a slippery pitch and he was booked for pulling back Raphinha after being nutmegged. AFP

Tyrick Mitchell - 6, Had a tough time dealing with Raphinha but put in a lot of good defensive work. May have wanted to show more quality with the ball. AFP

Eberechi Eze - 5, Looked silky on the ball but this often failed to materialise into anything threatening. Wasted a good opportunity and left Mitchell outnumbered at times in the second half. AFP

Jairo Riedewald - 6, His passing wasn’t at its best at times, but Riedewald showed intent and came close to making things happen. AFP

Luka Milivojevic - 4, Was let off after a terrible pass to Cahill was intercepted by Bamford. This wasn’t the only moment where the Serbian’s concentration seemed to slip. Booked for a foul on Dallas. Reuters

Patrick van Aanholt - 5, Had some moments where it looked like the Dutchman could create an opening, but the quality wasn’t there at the vital moment. Reuters

Jordan Ayew - 6, Showed ambition but his efforts were often dealt with fairly easily by Leeds, with shots from range failing to test Meslier. AFP

Jean-Philippe Mateta - 4, Making his Palace debut, Mateta’s touch was appalling early on which led to him giving the ball away for the opener. The service to him wasn’t great and it looks like he needs time to adapt. Reuters

SUB Andros Townsend (Van Aanholt HT) - 6, Was direct whenever given the opportunity to get forward but couldn’t quite force an opening. AFP

SUB Michy Batshuayi (Mateta 65’) - 6, Could have had an assist after a couple of minutes if Eze had controlled his strike and showed plenty of confidence throughout. EPA

Leeds United's Jack Harrison scored early before striker Patrick Bamford reached the 100 goals milestone to lift the Yorkshire side into the top half of the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Monday.

It was a first home win this year for Leeds, who have still lost more games than they have won at Elland Road this season, and nudged them up to 10th in the standings.

Palace, who won their last away game at Newcastle United but had to do without injured talisman Wilfried Zaha, were largely anonymous in the match and remain in 13th place.

Harrison’s opener came after 150 seconds, with a shot that took a slight deflection and looped high into the back of the net, while Bamford had an easy tap-in for his second-half goal.
