After a turbulent week that saw Manchester United eliminated from the League Cup by Championship side Derby County and lose to West Ham United in the Premier League, Jose Mourinho's squad turn their attentions to Europe with a Uefa Champions League game against Valencia.
Paul Pogba, whose relationship with his manager is reportedly at an all-time low after being stripped of the vice captaincy, trained with his teammates ahead of Tuesday's match at Old Trafford at the Aon Training Complex in Manchester.
Television cameras captured Pogba and Mourinho in an awkward exchange the day after the penalty shoot-out defeat to Derby on Wednesday, while the Frenchman was substituted after 70 minutes in the 3-1 defeat to West Ham.
The setback at West Ham on Saturday was United's third defeat in seven games, culminating in their worst start to a Premier League season. But they did win their opening group match in Europe's premier competition, away to Young Boys of Switzerland, with Pogba twice on the scoresheet in a 3-0 win.
