Manchester United returned to training on Wednesday as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad worked on fitness levels in anticipation of the Premier League resuming next month. French midfielder Paul Pogba, whose 2019/20 season had been blighted by injuries before the coronavirus-enforced lockdown of sport in Britain more than two months ago, was among the United first-team players reporting for duty at Carrington. Fellow midfielders Scott McTomminay and Fred were also pictured arriving at the AON Training Complex, along with striker Odion Ighalo, who is on loan from Chinese Super League club Shanghai Greenland Shenhua. As part of Project Restart, players must practise social distancing at all times, the league said, with contact training not permitted at this stage. Players will be asked to use an app on a daily basis to record any symptoms. To see pictures of players and staff arriving for training, check out the photo gallery above.
