They may have jetted in to an area known for summer holidays, but Liverpool are still very much at work. Mohamed Salah and his teammates have touched town in the Spanish resort of Marbella for a training camp before their Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur on June 1. Salah looked in high spirits as he strolled along in the sunshine and posted this image to his 8.8 million followers on Twitter and 27 million Instagram followers. Liverpool will be in Marbella for six days and named a 26-man squad for the occasion. A number of them had already taken a short holiday following the end of the Premier League season, and the UAE was a popular destination. Salah pictured himself on a boat in Dubai, while Georginio Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk were also in Dubai, visiting the private zoo of Saif Belhasa - a regular stop-off for Europe's top footballers. Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet meanwhile was in Abu Dhabi and visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, while midfielder Fabinho was also in the capital. ______________ ______________ Of the Liverpool squad that has travelled to Marbella, 23 will be permitted to be involved in the Champions League final after a change in regulations means that the teams can name 12 substitutes - rather than the usual seven in the previous rounds.
