Mohamed Salah goes into the final day of the Premier League neck and neck with Harry Kane in the race for a third Golden Boot.

The Egyptian forward has 22 league goals to his credit in a season of struggles for Liverpool and is tied with Tottenham's Kane as Liverpool host Crystal Palace, and Spurs go to Leicester City on Sunday.

Either Kane or Salah have won the Golden Boot in four of the last five seasons, though the Liverpool star's second award was shared with teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Whoever ends on top after their team’s final game will become only the third player to have taken the seasonal honour three times in Premier League history after Alan Shearer (three) and Thierry Henry (four).

Salah won the award in his first season at Liverpool in 2017/18, and again 2018/19, while Kane claimed the honour in 2015/16 and 2016/17.
