Barcelona on Monday discovered their first opponents for when La Liga resumes next weekend. The defending champions and league leaders will take on <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/sport/football/la-liga-announces-fixtures-as-season-re-start-looms-large-1.1027140">Real Mallorca on June 13</a> as Spain's top flight returns to action after a three month lockdown enforced due to the coronavirus outbreak. Group training has been permitted for <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/sport/football/lionel-messi-frenkie-de-jong-and-ansu-fati-get-to-work-as-barcelona-resume-group-training-in-pictures-1.1021976">the past two weeks</a> as players work on their fitness in preparation for La Liga's resumption. Now with the initial fixtures released - Barca then host Leganes on June 16 - clubs have been hard at work to get ready for competitive football. Continuing their preparations fo the season restart, Barca could be seen going through fitness and group drills at their Joan Gamper training complex on Monday afternoon.
